Mission Friends
Our Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) actively
ministers to the needs within our church family, in
the community and beyond. It’s purpose is clearly
linked to the commission Jesus gave his disciples on
the mountain. “Go ye therefore and teach all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” (Matt.
28:19).
WMU's theme for 2008 - 2009
is 'Called to Love'
Our WMU encompasses
four age groups.

Mission Friends is for children
ages 3 through kindergarten. They meet at 6:30 on
the first and third Wednesdays.

Girls in Action is
for girls in first through sixth grades. They also
meet on the first and third Wednesdays at 6:30.

Acteens is for young ladies in grades seven through
twelve. Their regularly scheduled meeting time is at
6:00 on the first and third Wednesdays, however the
dates may change if there are conflicts with school
activities that would prevent the young ladies from
attending Acteens.

The WOM groups meet the second
Tuesday. Some of the groups meet in the daytime and
others in the evenings. The Prison Ministry meets
the third Monday.
