Elevation –
Elevation is our annual student retreat weekend that takes place in and around Clayton.  The retreat takes place on the last weekend of February.  Students are broken up into small groups and stay with Host Families (FBC members).  In their host homes, the students participate in small group studies, fun activities, and outreach projects.  The students also participate in 2 worship sessions at the church led by a guest worship band.  Elevation always promises to be a transforming and elevating experience.  Registration for Elevation begins in December.  Click here for a brochure.

Senior Adult Banquet –

Every March the students create and host a Senior Adult Banquet for FBC’s senior adults.  The event is centered on a dinner and evening entertainment.  This is great opportunity for the students to show our senior adults how much we appreciate them.  The last few years the SAB themes have been: U.S.O, God is…, Love is…, A Journey Through The Silver Screen, and The Showcase Showdown.

crossroadnew Crossroad Worldwide Summer Camp –
Every June, our students venture to Gardner-Webb University for a 5-day summer camp experience.  Crossroads (www.crossroadsworldwide.com) is an excellent summer camp that centers on discipleship and spiritual growth.  The students engage in a variety of activities, including: river tubing, rock climbing, outdoor adventure games, sports tournaments, Dodgeball, basketball, soccer, art, dance, and much more.  Registration for summer camp begins in January.

US Missions Trip –

Every July, the student ministry embarks on a week-long mission trip.  Participants engage in various ministries, including: homeless ministry, children ministry, social ministry, construction, senior adult ministry.  The participants cook and serve food, play with children, perform repair work on homes, fellowship with people in need, and much more.  Over the last few years, the students have traveled to Gulf Port, Washington DC, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn, and Atlanta.  Registration for the mission trip to Kentucky begins in October.  For more information about the trip, download a General Information Flier here.
